Thesis Prof. Schulz-Nieswandt

Prof. Dr. Frank Schulz-Nieswandt returns from his research semester in the upcoming winter semester! Requests for bachelor and master theses can be submitted again from the beginning of September 2023.

An orientation of your studies in the field of social policy or cooperatives is desirable and advantageous, but not a mandatory prerequisite for supervision.

Prof. Schulz-Nieswandt is also always looking for interested students to participate in ongoing projects. An overview of the subject areas and project topics that are supervised by Prof. Schulz-Nieswandt throughout the year can be found here (only in german).

There you will also find information about the video course "Preparatory Course for Thesis" of the Chair of Social Policy and Methods of Qualitative Social Research and the Seminar for Cooperativism.  It is recommended to join this course and watch the video on "Scientific Work". If you would like to write your bachelor/ master thesis with Prof. Schulz-Nieswandt on one of the topics listed above, please fill out the form on the right. You will then receive a binding appointment for an initial meeting by e-mail. If you are unable to make use of this offer, please cancel it in good time. Otherwise you will block office hours that are not available to other students.

If you are studying BA Sowi, BA VWL or MA Powi according to the examination regulations (PO 2015), please inform yourself about the regulations that apply to you.

Inspection: Up to two weeks after the announcement of the grade, you can request to inspect the report. For this purpose, please send an informal request by e-mail to the secretariat.
